- They sure know their Raspberries in Poland and have produced arguably the best Raspberry variety on the planet: Great taste, reliable, huge crops, easy to grow, long season - it has it all
- Unlike some of the older Primocane (autumn fruiting) varieties, Polka fruits reliably on this years wood. That means you can expect a good crop in the year you plant it, which is not the case with summer fruiting (Flurocane)
- Expect to see 2.5kg of large, juicy Raspberries per plant in a good year, cropping from August right through to October
- For a full season, combine with a summer fruiting variety and enjoy Raspberries from June to October!
- Plant on a sunny spot in rows, with 50cm between canes and tie into supports as they grow. Can even be planted in a large pot (40cm+ in diameter).

How To Grow
Excellent
Has been bred for excellent disease resistance. Your biggest problem, as with most soft fruit, is that they are so delicious that local wildlife will want to eat them too. Grow in a polytunnel, or use a fruit net to keep birds off.MORE
Keep well watered
Water in thoroughly when planting. Raspberries prefer moist soils so make sure that they are well watered throughout summer, especially during drier periods. 1/2 time a week increasing to every other day when hot/ dry.
Full sun
Full sun means receiving direct sun for more than 6 hours each day during the spring/summer.
Prefers fertile, well draining soil.
Loam or sandy soil is perfect. You should also consider digging in some organic matter/ compost when planting to improve the soil
No need to feed
Don't worry, this isn't a hungry plant so your food bills won't be going up!

How do I know I'm getting quality plants?

When will I get my plants?
The delivery timescale for each plant is on the web page (near the 'add to basket's button). You'll receive a dispatch email with an exact delivery date once your plants are on their way, so you can get the garden ready.
How will my plants be packed and delivered?
We send all of our orders through a courier network designed to handle plants. Specialist equipment ensures that no plants will be damaged during the packing process and every order is carefully finished and checked by plant-loving humans. Your plants will arrive in the most sustainable packaging possible with minimal to no plastic used.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to anywhere in Mainland UK for our standard delivery cost. We are able to deliver most plants to Highlands and non UK mainland however this will be at an additional cost. This will be calculated at the checkout. Please note, deliveries to these locations will take longer. Unfortunately, we are not able to deliver to Northern Ireland at present.

Excellent delivery and service
Well, the delivery was spot on, the tree looks healthy enough for a sleeping plant, although at the moment most of the branches are on one side of the trunk which in itself is bent banana-style. quite wonky. One can only hope that it grows into a fruitful plant with some character?

Nice sized tree in good condition
Time will tell on the quality of the product (bare-root apple trees), but the stems that arrived seemed in great condition and very well packaged so no damage in transit. Looking forward to Spring!
