Care Guide

Excellent pest and disease resistance

No serious pest and disease issues - watch out for powdery mildew. This fungal disease can be avoided by spacing plants well and avoiding splashing water on the foliage. MORE

Full sun to partial shade

Grows best in full sun but will be fine with some partial shade

Any moist to wet soil

Any permanently moist or waterlogged soil - loam is ideal.

Prune lightly

Deadhead to encourage additional blooms. Divide every few years to avoid overcrowding.
