Marsh Marigold

Marsh Marigold is a spring-flowering herbaceous perennial belonging to the Buttercup genus. Native to marshes, this plant grows in damp conditions and can be planted at pond edges, in marsh ground or damp soil. The plants have strong branching roots, decumbent hollow stems and flowering stipules. Otherwise known as Kingcup, this herbaceous perennial flowers in April to August, producing overwintering buds and buttercup-like sepals in season.
