Excellent pest and disease resistance
If pests appear, flush plant with water to wash them off; if they persist, spray with insecticidal soapMORE
Keep moist and water during dry spells
Water when the top ½ inch of the potting mix is dry to the touch.
Full Sun
Abutilon will flower freely in full sun. It prefers a South or East facing sheltered spot.
Loam/Sand
Abutilon prefers a moist, well drained, acidic, light sandy or clay soil.
Feed every two weeks
Feed every 2 weeks with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer mixed at half strength. A fertilizer designed to promote blossoms may be used instead.
