Water in dry spells
Keep the soil moist and make sure to water regularly during dry spells.
Full sun
Position where your plants will receive sunlight for more than 6 hours each day during the spring/summer.
Any well-drained soil
Actinidia do well in any average, well-drained soil. If your soil is particularly clay-heavy and/or often becomes waterlogged then you can improve the drainage by adding in plenty of organic matter such as garden compost as well as some perlite or gravel.
Feeding not required
This vigorous vine requires little in the way of feeding. Three inches of compost provided each spring to the base of the plant provides all the nutrients necessary for the season. ?v=1613301043
