You can harvest the Lemon Grass at any point but the edible part is the thick base of the stem. Therefore, you will want to wait until that has grown to a substantial size.

Somewhat Hardy
Not frost tolerant. You will want to plant it in a sunny, sheltered location. If the temperature drops at any point below 5ºC then it is best to move the plant indoors or in a warmer area.
