Care Guide

Excellent Pest and Disease Resistance
Lavender has very few serious problems with pests or diseases.

Light Watering
Lavender only needs to be watered regularly in summer during the first year after planting or if you are keeping the plant in a container. If you plant Lavender in the ground it should not need much watering if at all past the first year after it has managed to establish itself.

Full Sun
Plant somewhere the plant will receive 6-8 hours of direct sunlight every day.

Any Average, Well-Drained Soil
Lavender does well in any average, well-drained soil. If your soil is particularly clay-heavy and/or often becomes waterlogged then you can improve the drainage by adding in plenty of organic matter such as garden compost as well as some perlite or gravel.

Not Required
Don't worry, this isn't a hungry plant so your food bills won't be going up! https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0513/3428/3424/files/pruning_3x_4d3eaf73-f629-45e0-87a5-6f14f5f005fc.png
