- Stipa tenuissima (commonly known as Mexican feather grass) is an award-winning plant whose wispy green leaves and buff summer flower panicles rock gracefully in the breeze, rustling in a relaxing manner.
- Imperata cylindrica ‘Red Baron’ is a Japanese blood grass whose spiky blades of grass are suffused with rich crimson hues, with particularly strong colour seen towards the end of summer.
- Carex oshimensis ‘Goldwell’ is a compact little ornamental grass that offers a lot of impact in a small package. The variegated green leaves feature a creamy-golden margin that creates an attractive two-tone effect.
- Hardy, easy to grow and low-maintenance, these colourful grasses look brilliant interplanted with flowering perennials in mixed borders, but are just as impressive as part of a patio display.
