Japanese Barberry
- A colourful and compact deciduous shrub with a bushy habit
- Rounded, deep purple leaves splashed with cream and pink. Tiny, pale yellow flowers are followed by dark red berries
- Eyecatching as a specimen plant or as part of a mixed hedge, Harlequin loves a sunny or partially shaded position
- Grows to 50-100cm tall and wide within 5-10 years
- Salt tolerant and ideal for coastal gardens
- A fully hardy and low maintenance perennial shrub
- Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit and Plants for Pollinators certification
- Ingestion may cause mild stomach upset
