- First grown all the way back in 1875, and named after the second Duchess of Edinburgh - Maria Alexandrovna - this delightful variety warrants its regal title and then some
- Ovate green leaves serve as the perfect backdrop against which the vine's showy flowers can truly shine
- If you want, you can even plant your clematis in a large pot on the patio and grow it up an obelisk!
