Clematis viticella 'Polish Spirit'
- A host of velvet purple flowers with deep red centres amongst dark green leaves
- Flowers from July to September
- This late flowering clematis is ideal for training over a pergola or through a shrub, tree or climbing rose
- Pruning group 3 - prune entire plant to a healthy bud 30cm from the ground in February or March
- An easy-to-grow variety, it is resistant to clematis wilt and damage from moderate winds
- RHS Award of Garden Merit winner
- Please Note: Our climbers are pruned back each winter, and some during the summer, so you may find at certain times of year they do not cover the whole 90cm cane. This is intentional to ensure the best growth when you plant out
