Juncus effusus spiralis
- Twining corkscrew clusters of parakeet green stems make an eyecatching addition to the margins of ponds
- Little chestnut brown flowers appear from June to August
- A high impact plant with compact dimensions - ideal for smaller ponds
- An evergreen perennial which is very low maintenance a and unaffected by pests and diseases
- Can be grown in very shallow water at the margins of a pond, in bog and water gardens or in containers
- Provides colour and shelter for wildlife, as well as a perching spot in the sun for visiting dragonflies and damselflies
