False Acacia Tree
Robinia pseudoacacia 'Rozynskiana'
- 'Rozynskiana' is a glorious tree with a broadly oval form and gracefully weeping branches
- Dangling leaves can be up to half a metre long, with each leaf comprising multiple, spread out, mid-green leaflets
- Produces an abundance of highly-fragrant, hanging, white racemes in June
- This is a variety with real history; first bred by Feliks Rozynski (hence the name) in the 19th century, it was then reintroduced in the 1990s by esteemed dendrologist - a fancy way of saying tree expert - Wlodzimierz Seneta
- False Acacia trees are highly attractive to pollinators like bumblebees
- Fully frost hardy and fast-growing, this tree is also nice and easy to grow
- Our trees are usually between 18 and 36 months old at the time of dispatch
- Our trees are professionally pruned before dispatching. This formative pruning can involve cutting the main leader, if the expert tree growers decide this will produce a better shaped tree. This can stop the tree becoming "leggy", and promote stronger, bushier growth

The False Acacia Tree grows to a height of 15 to 20 metres, with a spread of 10 to 15 metres, although it can be maintained at a smaller size with regular pruning.
How much sunlight does this need?
False Acacia Tree prefers full sun to partial shade, requiring at least 4 to 6 hours of direct sunlight daily to thrive.
