Pontederia lanceolata
- A tall, architectural version of Pontederia cordata which grows up to 1.5m tall!
- Heart-shaped, shiny jade green leaves, with clusters of lavender blue flowers rising on tall spikes.
- This is a vigorous aquatic perennial ideal for adding structure and height to the borders of ponds.
- Free flowering from July to September.
- Low-maintenance, pest and disease free.
- Attracts bees and butterflies as well as providing a habitat for small mammals and birds.
