Golden False Acacia
Robinia pseudoacacia 'Frisia'
- Bright pinnate foliage, with clear yellow leaves in spring, turning lime green throughout the summer and golden yellow in autumn
- Racemes of white fragrant flowers hang elegantly from the branches in May and June
- The common name of False Acacia comes from these beautiful flowers which resemble those of a true acacia
- The flowers are followed by dark brown seeds that adorn the branches once the autumn leaf colour has fallen
- This False Acacia is a stunning upright, medium-sized ornamental tree that will grow to 15x8m
- This tree will grow in most positions where exposure to the wind is avoided
