- Eyecatching giant flowers (10-15cm across) in the deepest, darkest purple turning magenta towards the middle, with a yellow flash on each petal
- Flowers from May to July
- A US native, this iris has been awarded the Mary Swords Deballion medal, the highest honour for a Louisiana iris
- Ideal for growing in the shallow edges of your pond or on shallow planting shelves within it
