- Hundreds of golden yellow buttercup-like flowers on slender stalks floating above lanceolate leaves
- A native plant which flowers between June and September
- Plant in still or slow moving water at the margins of a pond of water garden, in wet boggy soils or water up to 22cm deep
- Low maintenance - no serious pests or diseases
- Highly attractive to bees and other pollinators
- Poisonous if ingested, sap may irritate skin
