- Masses of buttercup yellow flowers in the early spring, surrounded by heart shaped fresh green leaves
- Commonly known as Marsh Marigold, Meadowbright or Kingcup
- Forms an attractive, almost spherical mound of foliage
- A native plant which is highly attractive to bees and butterflies
- An ideal addition to wildflower gardens, pond edges and woodland planting schemes
- Will often produce a second flowering in the autumn
