Melcourt SylvaGrow® Rose, Tree & Shrub Planting Compost
- Looking to plant out some new roses, trees or shrubs? Make sure you use this SylvaGrow® compost from Melcourt to do so. Peat-free, friable and sourced using British sustainable materials, this compost bag delivers everything you need it to.
- Mix with your back-fill soil in a ratio of 1:3/4. Make sure to firm in the soil/compost and water well after planting.
- Aids in moisture-retention and provides long-term, slow-release nutrients.
- This compost should be used exclusively for planting out; for other applications, such as seed sowing or potting on, an all-purpose compost (or a compost focused on potting on/seed sowing) is preferable.
- Endorsed by the RHS, indicating its quality and renown.

Happy plants (and non-planty things) delivered
OK, you got us. We didn’t actually grow this, because that would be some kind of next level alchemy. This non-plant is part of our very small and select range of stuff like plant food, tree stakes and mulch that we include to help you get the best from your plants. As we’re all about reducing waste here at Roots, you can be safe in the knowledge that it’s natural, sustainable and most importantly, great for your garden!
