- A stunning evergreen marginal plant with vibrant green stems striped with black and white bands made up of tiny leaves, which keeps its looks all year round
- Extremely hardy perennial - can grow even 500 miles inside the Arctic Circle
- A native plant which provides one of the best perches for dragonflies and damselflies, as well as shelter for froglets
- Often used in fresh and dried cut flower arrangements
- An excellent vertical accent plant for pond edges, water, bog and Japanese gardens
- A species believed to be approximately 350 million years old!
- Ideal for container displays and patio ponds
