Good pest and disease resistance
In terms of disease, this tree can be impacted by honey fungus and fire blight. From a pest perspective, aphids and sawflies may make an appearance on your tree.
Water regularly when young
Once established, rowan trees don't require much watering except for in dry, hot spells. When the tree is young and establishing, however, regular watering is beneficial.
Full sun to partial shade
Like most rowan varieties, this tree grows well in both full sun and partially shaded locations.
Any fertile, well-drained soil
Rowans are able to grow in a wide range of soil conditions but grow best in fertile, well-drained soil.
