Acorus calamus 'Variegatus'
- Vibrant and gracefully arching sword-shaped leaves striped with creamy white and green; often flushed with pink in cold weather. Acorus produces tiny green-yellow flowers in May, followed by reddish berries
- A beneficial pond edge plant for attracting wildlife, offering cover for emerging creatures including froglets and newly hatched dragonflies
- Fully hardy, low maintenance and unbothered by pests and diseases
- The decorative foliage has a pleasant aromatic scent when crushed
- Grow in a sunny or partly shaded position around ponds, rain and bog gardens, streams and lakes
