Care Guide
Excellent pest and disease resistance
If honeysuckle aphids appear, wipe them off and spray the leaves with soapy water. Spring feeding will help to prevent powdery mildew. MORE
Keep moist and water during dry spells
Keep soil moist, watering weekly in the warmer months and fortnightly in Winter if dry.
Sun/Partial shade
Lonicera will be happy in sun or partial shade. Avoid strong sunlight, which can scorch your plant.
Chalk/Clay/Loam/Sand
Lonicera thrives in any soil type as long as it is moist and well-drained.
Feed in Spring
Feed with a general purpose fertiliser and mulch in Spring to help reduce the risk of powdery mildew.
