- There are few (if any) cottage garden plants quite so deserving of the term 'staple' as antirrhinums, and 'Sonnet White' only cements that status further!
- With fabulous linen-white racemes blooming atop olive green foliage throughout summer, we've fallen pretty hard for this plant, we don't mind admitting
- Also known as snapdragons, antirrhinums like this one add jovial colour and charm wherever they're placed. Position in repeating blocks throughout the middle of a border, or plant in a cutting garden for fantastic bouquets
- Consider planting alongside delphiniums, salvias, achilleas and lavenders for the quintessential cottage garden look
- The blooms may be shaped like a dragon's jaw, but that doesn't stop intrepid bees from entering them on their quest for nectar. In fact, 'Sonnet White' is certified as one of the Royal Horticultural Society's Plants for Pollinators, so if you're looking to create a wildlife garden, you could do a lot worse than considering this gem!

How To Grow

Snapdragons aren't usually troubled by pests or disease.
Water regularly
Antirrhinums benefit from a good watering (roughly 2.5cm) every week, or more if the weather is dry. Your aim is to keep the soil consistently moist.
Full sun
This snapdragon will grow best in full sunshine (at least 6-8 hours of daily sunlight).
Any well-drained soil
For best results, grow in well-drained soil that's nice and fertile, and that's moist but not waterlogged.
Feed every week
This plant will benefit from a weekly feed that's high in potassium (e.g. tomato feed).

How do I know I'm getting quality plants?
All of our plants are grown in specialist nurseries with the highest standards of plant care and sustainability. We guarantee you'll love them as much as we do! Don't just take our word for it - we've got thousands of great reviews on Trustpilot.
When will I get my plants?
The delivery timescale for each plant is on the web page (near the 'add to basket's button). You'll receive a dispatch email with an exact delivery date once your plants are on their way, so you can get the garden ready.
How will my plants be packed and delivered?
We send all of our orders through a courier network designed to handle plants. Specialist equipment ensures that no plants will be damaged during the packing process and every order is carefully finished and checked by plant-loving humans. Your plants will arrive in the most sustainable packaging possible with minimal to no plastic used.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to anywhere in Mainland UK for our standard delivery cost. We are able to deliver most plants to Highlands and non UK mainland however this will be at an additional cost. This will be calculated at the checkout. Please note, deliveries to these locations will take longer. Unfortunately, we are not able to deliver to Northern Ireland at present.
