Early Spring Flowering Shrub Collection
- Everything you need to create a diverse and beautiful hedge which flowers in early spring, this collection consists of 15 beautiful hedging plants specially chosen for their performance, colour, form and benefits to early pollinators. 15 plants are sufficient for planting a 3m hedge - all are supplied as 30-45cm bare roots
- You will receive five each of Japanese Quince (Chaenomeles japonica), Forsythia int.Spectabilis 'Golden Bells' and Oregon Grape (Mahonia aquifolium)
- Planting an early spring flowering hedge improves soil stability and air quality, providing a natural habitat for wildlife. Early bees and other pollinating insects are attracted by the flowers and the hedge will also provide shelter and food for birds and small mammals such as hedgehogs
- Hardy, easy care perennials providing interest throughout the year - Plant in sun or partial shade in any well-drained soil and water well when newly planted
