- A wonderful variegated ivy with lobed, forest green leaves stamped with silver and off white splashes around the edges
- Unlike its icy namesake, Hedera helix 'Glacier' moves fast - it grows quickly and is the perfect choice both for training up vertical surfaces and as sprawling ground cover
- Like most ivies, this variety is easy to grow, unfussy and hardy down to temperatures of -15°C
- Deeply attractive foliage will help instantly elevate your garden's aesthetic appeal, and do so all year round
- 'Glacier' is a recipient of the Royal Horticultural Society's 'Award of Garden Merit' - this is an indicator of a plant's quality of performance in the garden
- Please Note: Our climbers are pruned back each winter, and some during the summer, so you may find at certain times of year they do not cover the whole 90cm cane. This is intentional to ensure the best growth when you plant out

Excellent pest and disease resistance
This variety generally has very few problems with disease. It can be affected by mealybugs, aphids or spider mites but problems are rarely serious and minor infestations can be treated by spraying with soapy water.
Keep Moist And Water During Dry Spells
Keep soil moist, watering weekly in the warmer months and fortnightly in Winter if dry. Aim the hose at the roots of the plant to avoid fungal problems.

Hedera will flourish in any position but prefers partial shade.
Any fertile, moist, well-drained soil
This hedera can be planted in a wide range of soils, provided that it's rich in organic material, moist and well draining. Although this variety prefers slightly alkaline soil, it can tolerate more acidic conditions, too.
