- An upright, rounded and gracefully spreading deciduous shrub
- The deeply lobed and serrated palmate leaves unfurl pink in spring, turn bright green in summer and in autumn put on a stunning display of warm oranges, golds and reds
- Plant in your lawn as a specimen shrub, as part of a border underplanted with shade loving perennials, as a hedge or in containers on the patio
- A fully hardy, slow growing shrub which will reach a height of up to 5m
