- With its rich dark green foliage, taking on almost-blue hues, 'Blue Maid' is understandably one of the more desirable holly varieties out there.
- Trained as a patio tree, this lollipop 'standard' comprises a clear stem alongside a neat, bushy head of foliage, atop which dainty white flowers and lush red berries are produced.
- This is a famously tough holly, thought, in fact, to be one of the very hardiest varieties out there, easily withstanding temperatures of below -20°C.
- It's also more tolerant to pollution levels than many, making it an ideal pick for urban gardens. Just whack it out on the courtyard, then sit back and admire!
