'Profusion Improved' Crabapple Tree
Malus moerlandsii
- A profusion of deep magenta purple flowers in spring
- Copper-red foliage matures to a dark forest green before turning yellow/bronze in the autumn
- Small purple crab apples appear in autumn and stay until winter
- Not suitable for culinary use but the birds love them and will flock to your garden
- Grow as a focal point in a lawn, as part of a hedge or in wildlife gardens
- Malus Profusion Improved is an improved version of the popular Malus Profusion and is much less prone to apple scab as well as being drought and pollution tolerant
