Sorbus aucuparia
- A popular choice for mixed native hedging, Rowan provides year-round colour and wildlife benefits
- Distinctive toothed green foliage with clusters of sweetly scented white flowers in May and June. These are followed by brilliant orange-red berries to complement the warm red autumn leaves
- A fully hardy plant which will reach a height of approx 5m but can easily be maintained at 1-5m
- Low maintenance and tolerant of any soil conditions - grow in full sun or partial shade
- A UK native species that's attractive to birds and insects, with RHS Plants for Pollinators designation
- Grow as a single species or as part of a mixed native hedge for a natural look
