Prunus 'Okame'
- Known for being one of the earliest spring bloomers – flowering from as early as late February – ‘Okame’ dazzles with its abundant, fragrant blossoms in candy pink.
- Alongside its incredible flower power, this variety also has amazing deciduous foliage, the green leaves taking on brilliant shades of bronze and orange come autumn time.
- This cherry blossom makes a fantastic specimen tree, and growing to just a relatively compact four by four metres, is a great option for smaller gardens (you can even prune it to be kept smaller).
- A deserved recipient of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit, this variety has been recognised as performing particularly well in British gardens.
