- 'Brilliance' is a wonderful fern variety which goes through several appealing hues throughout the year, starting out with eye-catching bronze fronds which mature to green as the year goes on
- A fantastic option for moist and shady borders, woodland gardens and shrub underplanting
- Like most ferns, this evergreen variety is easy to grow, hardy and very versatile; it isn't affected by pests, will survive UK winters, requires little to no pruning and can be planted in every type of light (though ferns in full sun will require more watering)
- In autumn, the fronds develop particularly vivid red sporangia and spores on their underside, adding to the plant's already ancient and primal feel
- This fern is a recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, which serves as an indicator of its quality and performance in British gardens
