'Elegance' Strawberry Plants
- As strawberries go, few can hope to rival the exceptional taste and performance of 'Elegance'. Its glossy, bulbous fruits are both large in size and delicious in flavour, and are ripe to pick from June through into July.
- When we say that the strawberries produced are large, trust us, we mean it. In fact, 'Elegance' strawberries are thought to be as much as 30% larger than those typically found in supermarkets. Is it greedy to have both quantity and quality? Oh well, who cares!
- Boasting good resistance to common strawberry problems, like powdery mildew, this variety is as tough and robust as its little white flowers are pretty to look at.
- An easygoing, low-maintenance cultivar, 'Elegance' grows wonderfully in pots and planters, and loves nothing more than to bask outdoors in a container on a sunny terrace.
- Delicious eaten fresh, incorporated into desserts and use in jams and preserves, 'Elegance' strawberries will forever hold a place in our horticultural hearts (and our stomachs).
