Excellent pest and disease resistance
No serious pest and disease issues - watch out for powdery mildew. This fungal disease can be avoided by spacing plants well and avoiding splashing water on the foliage. MORE

Grows best in full sun but will be fine with some partial shade
Any moist to wet soil
Any permanently moist or waterlogged soil - loam is ideal.
Prune lightly
Deadhead to encourage additional blooms. Divide every few years to avoid overcrowding.
