- Delicate bell-shaped ivory to rosewood pink flowers on stems flushed with burgundy red
- Long flowering period from May right through to September
- A moisture loving, prolifically flowering perennial that is highly attractive to pollinators
- Makes excellent ground cover where other plants may struggle
- Ideal for cottage, prairie or meadow planting schemes as well as pond edges and borders
- If boiled, the roots produce a liquid that tastes faintly like chocolate
