Iris sibirica 'Peacock Pennywhistle'
- A plant imbued with style and grace, the 'Peacock Pennywhistle' iris has elegant lavender and clotted cream flowers, with mid green blades of foliage
- The sophisticated flowers feature block lavender standards, with blueish purple falls that are etched with yellow on the inner part. They are primarily seen between May and June
- One of the hardier plants you'll find, this iris can survive down to -15°C, meaning that it'll more than cope with most British winters
- Make sure inquisitive pets (and children) are kept away from irises, as they're harmful to humans and animals if ingested
- Attractive to bumblebees and other pollinators, this plant is well suited to the edge of a pond, a water garden or a border with moist soil
