'Little Miss Figgy' Patio Fig Tree
- Perfect for beginners, this pocket sized fig tree is easy to grow and looks - dare I say it - even better than traditional varieties?
- Produces a prolific double crop of large, sweet, burgundy-coloured figs in both summer and early autumn!
- A dwarf variety that's been specially bred to be perfect for pots and smaller gardens and can be grown as a tree or a bush. Grows to just 1.2x 1.2m and looks amazing on a balcony. You can even grow it indoors!
- The foliage is some of the best we've ever seen - lush, green and plentiful with that unmistakable lobed leaf shape.
- Drought resistant once established, this is a low-maintenance, high-reward plant.
- Hardy down to -15°C.

Yes, the 'Little Miss Figgy' Patio Fig Tree is a compact variety that grows exceptionally well in a pot. In fact, restricting its root system in a container can actually encourage more prolific fruit production rather than excessive foliage growth. Ensure the pot has adequate drainage holes, and use a loam-based compost like John Innes No. 3 mixed with some grit for drainage.

This tree can reach a height and spread of 90cm to 1.2 metres if unrestricted, but it stays smaller in a container.
How much sunlight does this need?
It needs a sheltered, sunny spot, ideally south or west-facing, to ensure the fruit ripens properly in the UK climate.
What kind of soil does this plant prefer?
This fig tree prefers well-drained, fertile soil that is ideally neutral to slightly alkaline (pH 6.0-7.5), and if grown in a pot, you should use John Innes No. 3 compost with added grit.
How much watering does this plant need?
Water regularly during the growing season, keeping the soil moist. Reduce watering in winter when the tree is dormant.
