Melcourt All Purpose Peat-Free Compost
- This fabulous general-purpose compost from Melcourt is suitable for use in a wide range of situations, including potting on, container and tub planting, as well as planting out.
- Comprising green compost, coir, wood fibre and conifer bark, this fine compost will support plants and aid their establishment for the first four to six weeks after planting.
- If you're looking to grow lime-hating plants (like blueberries) then opt for our ericaceous compost offering, instead.
- Make sure to check the manufacturer's instructions to work out how much compost to use in which situations.
- This product has been endorsed by the Royal Horticultural Society, indicating its reliably high level of quality.

Meet Roots
Happy plants (and non-planty things) delivered
OK, you got us. We didn’t actually grow this, because that would be some kind of next level alchemy. This non-plant is part of our very small and select range of stuff like plant food, tree stakes and mulch that we include to help you get the best from your plants. As we’re all about reducing waste here at Roots, you can be safe in the knowledge that it’s natural, sustainable and most importantly, great for your garden!
