- One of the very finest dogwood varieties, 'Midwinter Fire' dazzles through the winter months with its vivid red and orange bare stems, which are best enjoyed when planted en masse in blocks.
- Alongside its glorious stems, this plant also features creamy summertime blooms, jet-black berries and lush green foliage (which takes on fabulous autumnal hues later in the year).
- While dogwoods can be grown in dense planting blocks or as an attractive hedge, they can also just as well be grown as an eyecatching, standalone shrub at the heart of your bed or border.
