'Mirabelle Ruby' Plum Tree
- With delicious cerise fruits boasting intensely jammy sweetness, 'Mirabelle Ruby' is as precious a tree as the stone from which it derives its name!
- A naturally upright variety, this tree can easily be grown in smaller spaces, as well as in containers on patios and balconies.
- In spring, the tree produces glorious white blossoms that offer immense ornamental value. From September, the fruits (which rank amongst the largest mirabelles) are ready to harvest.
- Eat your plums fresh from the tree, or if you manage to get some back into the kitchen instead of eating them all on the way, then rustle up a scrummy plum crumble.
- Plum trees have been designated by the RHS as one of its Plants for Pollinators, indicating its benefits to insects like bees and butterflies.
