Care Guide

Excellent Pest and Disease Resistance

Generally, this variety has no issues with pests or diseases.

Water Often in Summer

During hot and prolonged dry periods, you will want to water the plant several times a week to keep the soil moist. Throughout the rest of the year the rain should provide all the water the plant needs. Rudbeckias do not like sitting in waterlogged soil.

Full Sun to Partial Shade

This variety will grow in areas of moderate sunlight, including around 4-6 hours of dappled sunlight in partial shade but also grows in full sun.

Fertile, Well-Drained Soil

You will want to mix in plenty of organic matter such as garden compost into the soil before planting. If your soil is particularly clay-heavy and easily becomes waterlogged, add some perlite or gravel into the soil to improve drainage.

Not Required

Don't worry, this isn't a hungry plant so your food bills won't be going up! https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0513/3428/3424/files/pruning_3x_4d3eaf73-f629-45e0-87a5-6f14f5f005fc.png
