Spiraea 'Sparkling Champagne'
- With its lovely pink flowers and colour-changing foliage, 'Sparkling Champagne' is as special a shrub as its name would suggest.
- Starting out in bronze and copper hues, the leaves go on to develop green and chartreuse shades in the summer, before finally turning red and yellow come autumn.
- A many-branched shrub, this variety sports wonderful pink flowers in summer (these are flattened in appearance, looking something akin to achillea flowers).
- Popular with pollinating insects like bees and butterflies, this is a great plant to introduce into the garden if you want to see more wildlife.
- A relatively compact shrub, growing to just a metre-and-a-half or so in height, you can grow 'Sparkling Champagne' in a large container on the patio.
