- A magnificent and productive tree, non-native but commonly grown in the UK for centuries and ideally suited to our climate
- Delicious walnuts can be harvested green for pickling or left until autumn to dry and store
- Grows to 12 x 8m but can be pruned smaller to fit average sized gardens
- Green catkins up to 10cm long appear in spring, attracting early pollinators

- Grow in full sun or partial shade in a sheltered spot
- Juglans Regia boasts large, bright-green, pinnate leaves that are faintly scented when young. In autumn, the foliage adopts warm shades of yellow and bronze.The tree forms an attractive spreading shape and has silver-grey bark
