Nymphaea 'Vesuve'
- A free-flowering, delicately fragrant waterlily with vibrant magenta red flowers up to 18cm and a centre of yellow to burnt orange stamens, floating above dark green leaves with bronze undersides. The flowers open early in the morning and close late in the evening
- Long summer flowering period from June to September
- A hardy native plant with a vigorous growth rate
- The perfect size for medium to large ponds and lakes
- Floating plants provide shade and shelter for fish as well as protecting them from predators like herons. Also reduces the growth of algae
- Grow in full sun and still water, away from fountains and splashing water
