Hosta Blue Cadet
- Hosta 'Blue Cadet' is a bona fide superstar of a plant, sporting lovely broad leaves with a bluish sheen, as well as delicate lilac blooms through the summer.
- An excellent choice for woodland gardens, this variety thrives in dappled light and even full shade. Plant alongside ferns and heucheras to give you the ultimate foliage selection.
- Fast-growing and low-maintenance, 'Blue Cadet' makes a great pick for weed suppression and groundcover. Plus, it's hardy enough to withstand whatever winter throws at it!
- As the plant matures, its leaves develop an incredibly tactile, dimpled texture that would work brilliantly in dedicated sensory gardens.
- You can even grow your hosta in a large container and keep it on the patio or balcony. Be mindful, though, that container-grown plants dry out quickly than those planted in the open ground.
