Hosta Elegans
- One of the finest foliage plants you'll ever see, 'Elegans' is a hosta with genuine star quality. Sporting broad glaucous-green leaves up to 30cm in length, and delicate lilac-smudged, white bell blooms, this plant deserves a place in any garden.
- Suitable for growing not only in beds and borders, but also in patio pots and balcony containers, this hosta is a great option for a slightly shadier, east- or north-facing garden.
- Plant alongside ferns, heucheras and astilbes to create an enchanting woodland-style garden. 'Elegans' will also make an excellent feature plant for relaxed, Zen-style garden spaces.
- The thick nature of this variety's leaves means it sits among the more slug-resistant hostas out there (which, if you know about hostas, you know that slugs usually love 'em).
- A recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, 'Elegans' has been shown to perform particularly well in British garden trials.
