Hydrangea paniculata 'Skyfall'
- A prolific flowerer, 'Skyfall' is about as dramatic as they come, sporting abundant creamy-white flowers which take on pinker tints with age.
- Growing to just over one metre in height, this showy superstar works beautifully in a patio pot, a mixed bed or even as part of an informal flowering hedge.
- Originating in the Netherlands, 'Skyfall' is the result of hybridising two other popular varieties, 'Limelight' and 'Silver Dollar'. And in spite of its sizable conical blooms, it manages to be self-supporting!
- The starry florets making up each bloom mean this variety unquestionably makes for an excellent cut flower in bouquets and arrangements.
- 'Skyfall' enjoys a prolific and long-lived flowering season, blooming from mid-July right the way through into October. Talk about a plant that puts in the hard yards...
