Lupin West Country 'Rachel de Thame'
- Named after the actor, horticulturalist and Gardener's World presenter, this fantastic lupin is part of the award winning West Country range, with closely packed bicoloured flowers producing alternating stripes of candy pink and white
- Blooms from May to June
- An easy care hardy perennial which loves a sunny, sheltered spot
- Adds height and colour to a mixed border as an accent plant or in groups. These sturdy lupins are also perfect for containers and can be grown for cutting
- Grows up to 85cm tall
- Pollen rich and loved by bees and butterflies
- Causes discomfort if eaten - wear gloves and wash hands after gardening
- West Country lupins are bred in Devon by Sarah Colibear for colour, improved disease resistance and vigour. They're a regular feature of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, with four gold medal wins. These lupins produce more flower spikes than traditional lupins and last longer too. Their stronger stems mean that they don't need any staking
