Patio Apple and Pear Trees
Perfect Partners
-
In this collection, you’ll receive:
- 1 ‘Conference’ patio pear tree
- 1 ‘Discovery’ patio apple tree
- What a
pearpair of fruit trees! It doesn’t get much better than the humble apple and pear, and with this collection, you can grow them from your very own patio, balcony or courtyard garden. - Grown on rootstocks that keep them to a much shorter ultimate height, these trees typically only grow to 1-1.5m tall, making them perfect for container growing. And, if you’ve only got space enough for two small trees? Well, these two are among the very best.
- After all, just because you don’t have a hundred-acre orchard at your disposal, that shouldn’t mean you don’t get to grow your very own delicious fruit!
- One of the nation’s favourite pear varieties, ‘Conference’ produces wonderfully juicy and flavoursome pears, perfect for eating fresh, poaching or baking with honey and walnuts.
- The most widely grown dessert apple here in the UK, ‘Discovery’ apples are incredibly versatile, and if you can stop yourself from biting into one straight from the tree, no judgement if you can’t, then you can use them for juicing, cooking and baking – just think of the crumbles you’ll make…
