'Stella' Cherry Tree
- Looking for sweet, dark-red, aromatic eating cherries? Look no further. 'Stella' is a simply stellar fruiting cherry variety, boasting excellent flavour and texture.
- Heavy-yielding and with a lengthy cropping season lasting several weeks, this variety grows well in British gardens and holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
- Versatile in nature and responding well to pruning, 'Stella' is an ideal tree for fan or espalier training. It's also self-fertile, producing good crops without a partner tree.
- A late harvest variety, your cherries will be ready to pick from the tree from July through to August. Eat them fresh, bake them into a cherry and almond cake or use them to press your own cherry juice!
- Colt Rootstock: Max size H4m x W4m
- Cordon Trained: Max size H2m x W1m
- Dwarf: Max size H1.5m x W1m
- Our trees are usually between 18 and 36 months old at the time of dispatch.
- Our trees are professionally pruned before dispatching.
- Our mature trees are grown in Air-Pots®, the only type of pot to completely eliminate root circling. A unique design stimulates air pruning for a mass of healthy fibrous roots, which results in a healthy tree that will establish quickly in your garden. With each Air-Pot® made to last up to 20 years, we reuse them on the nursery and wrap your mature tree in hessian for delivery - but if you’d rather keep your tree potted, simply add an Air-Pot® to your basket along with your tree.
