- Few foliage plants are quite so striking as this spindle shrub. With its lush grean lives, variegated with chartreuse-to-yellow margins, 'Ovatus Aureus' is the very definition of a bobby dazzler.
- Did you know? Spindle plants (the common name for euonymus) were named as such because they were the preferred wood to construct the spindles used in old textile manufacturing.
- Hardy to the cold, easy to plant and straightforward to look after, this variety is the perfect pick for you shrub borders and can even be used as a hedging plant.
- Occasionally, this shrub will produce small green flowers in the spring and pinkish berries in the autumn, though the production of these is intermittent.
- This plant is a recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, a presitigious accolade bestowed upon those plants shown to perform particularly well in British gardens.
